Dave Golan- Executive Director
Dave has worked at various levels of soccer including college, club, ODP and high school.
He is originally from Northern Virginia. Dave played soccer for the University of South Carolina and was part of their 1988 team that reached the College Cup semi- finals. He received his BA and MA from South Carolina.
Upon graduation Dave coached club soccer in South Carolina and Colorado. Eventually, he entered the college ranks as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at his alma mater. Dave left South Carolina to become the Head Men’s Coach at Appalachian State University and the University of Evansville.
His players have represented the US in the World University Games, Olympics, Gold Cup and World Cup. Professionally they have played in the Bundesliga, USL. MISL and Major League Soccer.
Additionally, Dave has worked for US Soccer as a talent ID scout for the boys national Teams U14 through U20 and Major League Soccer as a Professional Match Evaluator. Currently, he manages the soccer facility for former UMNT and MLS star Tony Sanneh’s foundation.
