Recreational Soccer Program
Sporting Columbia administers Columbia's largest outdoor recreational soccer program in partnership with Columbia Parks and Recreation at Cosmopolitan Park. Our rec program is currently home to over 1500 youth soccer players ranging in age from 3 to 16. Our goal is to provide Columbia youth an opportunity to be active, healthy, and have fun learning the game of soccer! If you're looking for a program for your child to develop new friends and more confidence, recreational soccer is the perfect choice!

Spring 2026 Registration Fees
| U4 - U7 | $125 |
| U8 - U17 | $145 |
PLEASE NOTE: Registration is per season. ALL players need to register for the spring season to participate.
RETURNING Fall 2025 players will use their jersey and ball provided during the fall season. Fall teams will typically be carried over to the spring season for returning players unless a change is selected on the registration form.
NEW Spring 2026 players will receive a soccer ball and team jersey included with registration.
Refund Policy: Refund requests must be made prior to February 15. Requests should be submitted to rec@sportingcolumbia.net.

SCHEDULE NOTE: Games are generally held on Saturdays. An occasional weeknight game may be scheduled to accommodate the number of teams in a division or when make-up games are needed. Saturday game times begin at 8:30 AM and continue through the day as necessary. Weekday evening games are played after 5:00 PM.
Recreational Soccer Divisions
Sporting Columbia Recreational Soccer offers U4-U17 Coed divisions and U7-U12 Girls divisions. Please make sure to specify Coed or Girls on your player's registration. Age groups correspond with the school year and are outlined below for the Fall 2025 & Spring 2026 seasons.

Additional Information
Where are games?
Games are played at Cosmopolitan Park located at 1615 Business Loop 70 West.
When and Where are practices?
Coaches determine practice days, times, and locations.
Practice guidelines are as follows:
| U4 - U7 | First 30 minutes of game time |
| U8-U9 | One 60-90 minute session per week |
| U10+ | Two 60-90 minute sessions per week |
What equipment does my player need to participate?
All rec players receive a team jersey and soccer ball included with registration each year. Fall season players receive their ball and jersey during the fall season. New spring season players each receive a ball and jersey during the spring season.
What are the rec seasons and when is registration open?
Sporting Columbia currently hosts fall and spring rec seasons. Fall registration is open May 1-June 30 and the season is late August through October. Spring registration is open November 15-February 15 and the season is late March through May.
Is financial assistance available for rec soccer?

Being a coach is a great way to spend quality time with your child and help out a great cause. All coaches must register online, complete and pass a background check processed though Missouri Youth Soccer Association. Please email rec@sportingcolumbia.net if interested in volunteering!
